Burying Myself in Webtoons

Hello everyone. Happy Saturday! Happy Cinco de Mayo if you're celebrating that as well.

Sometimes I just need a break from reading words after words after words. When days like that appear, I usually find myself reading webtoons! A webtoon is digital comic strip that is published online. Its most common in South Korea and is completely vertical. I love webtoons because of their beautiful artworks and intense story lines. The really big downside to webtoons is that it takes 1-2 weeks for a new chapter/episode to be released. 90% of the time the authors of these webtoons are working on their comic AFTER their full-time job and busy life. In this post, I'm going to list the webtoons that I'm currently reading and loving <3

Review: Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake

Author: Kendare Blake
Series: Yes - Book #1 in Three Dark Crowns series.
Cover: Can we take like five minutes to admire how gorgeous the cover is? I was surfing around for books to read and I fell IN LOVE with this cover. I need to buy this book just to have because of how pretty it is <3
Rating: 5/5 I'm conflicted on deciding if I want to read the next book in the series or not RIGHT NOW. I hate waiting for books to release and since this series isn't finished, part of me wants to continue with another book before I pick up One Dark Throne. UGH I CAN'T DECIDE. I LOVE THIS BOOK.

~ Anime That I'm Currently Watching ~

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Let's start this post with a little chit-chat. I officially became a year older yesterday and yeah... Do I FEEL older? No. Not really, but at the same time I do. Weird right? I'm also almost done with Three Dark Queens with only 20% left of the book to read. So, book review should be out around this week or no later than next week! Onto the actual topic of the post! Here I'm just going to give a rundown of the anime I've finished and my thoughts on them PLUS talk about the new anime that I've started/continuing to watch. There may be spoilers.... You have been warned...

Books That I've Read That Changed My Life

Hello everyone. Happy Saturday!

This post is basically about all the books I've read that have changed me in some shape or form. Some of the books that I mentioned might have a more serious reason for being in this post and others maybe a simple reason. I'm sure that every book that I've read has influenced me in some way, but I'm only going to mention a couple that strike out to me most. I believe reading and writing are one of the most important methods of expression, storytelling, and honor for many people, not just the writers, but the readers as well.

The Next Five!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Here are the next five books that I will be reading! Since it is spring now, I'm hoping for some nice refreshing books to read. I usually read one book at a time and unfortunately, I'm not the speediest reader either. I feel like my list of books I want to read will never end. If you've read any of the books I've mention, let me know on a 5-star rating scale what you think of it. No spoilers please! Here are the five books and my thoughts on them as I read the book descriptions.

Spring Cleaning Book Tag!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope your week is starting off well.

I have been tagged by Noel at Books With Noel to do the Spring Cleaning Book Tag. Thank you very much Noel for the tag if you're reading this post. This is my first book tag and I'll do my best to answer all of them as much as possible. The tag looks really fun to do so I hope everyone here will enjoy the read as well. Lovely Ladies ~

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! It's Friday the 13th!!!!!! Spooky...

So, this blog post was supposed to be published yesterday, but life decided to kick me in the butt. Right now, I'm really behind with my blog posts, reading, and I'm sorry for that. Now, onto the post! I would like to say 90% of the books I read, have ladies as the protagonist. I was thinking earlier this week, if I could be friends with any fictional ladies, who would be my BFFs. So here are four characters that I would love to be friends with.

Killing Floor!

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday~

This is another random post that I thought would be fun. What if I put characters from books that I've read this year into an arena and they were told that there can only be one survivor. It is a little dark to think about, but it is fun to think about characters from different books interacting with each other. Think of it like the Hunger Games, only with characters from other books. So, the rules for this killing floor is that the contestants can only be main or supporting characters from books that I've read. For this post, since I have only read six books so far, I am also going to include the seven books I've read last year into the competition. Here are the unlucky contestants!
